Why Frozen?
Nutrition plays a vital role in our lives and maintaining
our customers’ good health is at the forefront of everything
we do and develop at apetito. That’s why we choose the cook
freeze system, when the finest of ingredients combine in a
delicious dish that is immediately frozen for freshness.
Often when catering for large numbers, or even with
individual meals, dishes can be lukewarm or unappetising
when they reach the customer, with nutritional content
suspect at best. apetito’s specialist experience of over
fifty years in the business has revolutionised the provision
of hot meals, and we maintain frozen is the way forward.
A cook freeze meal provision offers a streamlined process
from ingredient to plate. Following preparation and rapid
freezing to -20⁰C, meals are delivered and can be stored
until needed, reducing the amount of required deliveries.
All cook freeze meals are frozen immediately at the point
of preparation to ‘lock in’ freshness and nutrients, as a
result the majority of the nutritional values of the
ingredients used at the start of the dish are retained for
the benefit of the end user. Food safety is of paramount
importance and our combination of the apetito Foodsafe+
system and rigorous microbiological safety tests from
preparation to delivery affords you total peace of mind.

Nutridata tells you about the complete nutritional and
ingredient 0specification of every product we sell. You can
also search our product lists if you require products to
suit specific dietary needs.
