If you are a Domiciliary Care Provider:
We have been active in the provision of insurance solutions
to domiciliary care providers and operators since 1998.
Through our experience we have developed a flexible scheme,
underwritten by a leading insurer, which offers excellent
benefits and competitive premiums. Our customers benefit
from the highest standards of service supported by quality
systems.
It is a requirement of The Commission for Social Care
Inspectorate that all domiciliary businesses take out
domiciliary care insurance. Claims of £100,000 for injuries
to employees and clients are no longer unusual, making it
even more important to protect your business.

Our package is flexible offering a core cover range for your

requirements (minimum limit £10,000,000 any one occurrence
or series of events)
- Public liability cover from £2,000,000 to meet your
business requirements
- Medical malpractice (including clinical nursing) from
£2,000,000.

money including theft of money by care assistants, Personal

If you are a Support and Sheltered Home:
Capita CARE has a very strong knowledge of registration
procedures and care in the community cover requirements.
As a result of the devolvement of care provision by the
government we understand that more organisations will have
access to supporting people funding.
In the late 1990s with the advent of supporting people
initiatives we were ideally placed to arrange a bespoke
package of covers to meet the insurance needs of supported
living / sheltered home providers.
If you are a Housing Association:
Capita CARE provide insurance solutions to a number of
housing associations. In recent years we have noted the
gradual convergence of care operators and housing
associations. The boundary lines have become less distinct
and we have corporate care clients that operate a stock of
social housing properties and registered social landlords (RSLs)
that have a number of care home locations as part of their
portfolio.
