We have designed and constructed purpose built care homes
and conversions throughout the South West of England worth
in excess of £28m.
We have both knowledge and practical experience to construct
and modify care homes using the latest specialist equipment
that needs to be incorporated within today’s modern care
home in order for them to meet the requirements of the
residents.
Specialist equipment we have installed includes track hoist
systems which enables residents to be safely lifted from a
bed position to a bathroom using an integrated tracking
system through doorways. Also elevating bath designs and
keypad entry systems for safe containment of dementia care
residents.

St Monica Trust
Project: Garden House, Bristol
Description: This project was a 25-bedroom extension
to an existing award winning design care home with extensive
rooms and dining facilities. A specialist hoist system was
installed from Guildmann and ARJO Parker baths as well as
high quality hardwood skirting and architraving finishes.
Value: £1.9 million
Completion: October 2006
Somerset Care
Project: Wyndham House, Minehead
Description: This project was to build an 18-bedroom
extension and refurbish the existing care home including a
new lift and lounges. The project also included a new dining
room, refurbishment of the existing back of house areas,
additional hair dressing facilities and new garden area for
residents’ use.
Value: £1.3 million
Completion: March 2006
Project: Grovelands, Yeovil
Description: This project was a re-development of the
Grovelands Residential Home in Yeovil to provide a
60-bedroom state of the art care home with dementia
facilities.
Completion: July 2007
Notaro Care Home Group
Project: Notaro Care Home, Hurd’s Hill, Langport
Description: Tturnkey project of a 46-bed care home,
high quality finishes for the Notaro Care Home Group
arranged over two floors with full en-suite shower
facilities.
Design incorporated variation of finishes, textures and
colours breaking the building into manageable wings with a
homely effect.

Methodist Housing Association
Project: Saltash Methodist Church and Flats
Description: A contract to construct a new Church
Hall and 23 one-bedroom flats for the MHA successfully
completed and handed over in September 2007. 23 one-bedroom
flats for sale to over 55’s to MHA’s specification with an
attached Church Hall replacing a redundant Church Hall on
the site previously

Gibraltar Holdings Ltd
Project: New Care Village consisting of 90-bed care
home & 33 care apartments
Description: The Care Village will compromise a state
of the art 90-bedded care home that will encompass a
hydro-therapy pool, gym, library, cinema room and internet
café. In addition 33 close care cottages will provide
independent living facilities within close proximity of the
communal amenities.
