NCA Announces Appointment of First
Children’s Services Development Officer |
NCA announced this morning the appointment of Janet Rich as
the Association’s first Children’s Services Development
Officer.
Janet Rich has had a distinguished career in residential
child care over the last seventeen years working for the
Bryn Melyn Group in North Wales.
National Care Association Nadra Ahmed OBE said today: “NCA
has been working in the residential child care sector for
some time in response to requests from providers for
representation at the highest level.
The appointment of Janet Rich is an important step forward
for NCA in the child care sector and reflects the commitment
of the NCA Board of Directors to develop the services we
provide for child care providers.”
Janet Rich said today: “I am delighted to have been
appointed to this important developmental post. I am looking
forward to ensuring that the voice of residential child care
is heard at the heart of Government.”
