Introduction
Quantum Training Services specialises in delivering training
for care homes and care agencies to enable them to meet the
requirements of their service users by providing quality
person centred care.
Quantum Training Services staff are all experienced
trainers/assessors and nurse lecturers with many years
experience in various sectors of the care industry including
over 50 years experience in care home management.
Senior Carer Placements
Quantum Training Services have an ongoing requirement for
placements for overseas senior carers, many of whom are
qualified nurses, who will undertake a two year program of
NVQ Health & Social Level 2/3. The candidates will come on a
two-year visa that will enable them to work 40 hours per
week. Quantum Training’s field assessors will visit the
candidates in their place of work at intervals by
appointment to oversee their progress. Quantum Training
Services does not charge any fees to placement

Care Home and Residential Nursing Home Staff Training
There is a 62% turnover of care staff in private sector
Nursing and Residential homes, which can result in high
costs for Mandatory Training.
Quantum Training’s special ‘Mandatory Training Programme’
will be held on a continual basis at our Derby training
centre. Sessions on all six units i.e.;
Moving & Handling
Health & Safety
Basic Food & Hygiene
First Aid / CPR
Infection Control
POVA
will be held weekly. Participating homes will be able to
send their staff to any of the sessions for which their
staff require training.
The advantages of the ‘Mandatory Training Programme’ are
that it is potentially much more cost effective than the
traditional methods of training these units. Secondly, and
equally important, it will result in flexibility in managing
your staff off duty as it enables training to be spread out
allowing staff to be trained when it is convenient to you.
Finally, existing and new staff can attend with no limit to
numbers. (Training in all these units will still be
available on site but would not be available within the
‘Mandatory Training Programme’).
The cost of the ‘Mandatory Training Programme’ is an annual
fee of Ł449+ VAT per home. The only requirements are that we
are provided with a current list of staff and details of any
new staff joining which will enable us to ensure that we
provide you with a training matrix for CSCI or any other
standards that you are required to meet. In addition we
require two weeks notice of dates and details of staff who
will be attending for training.
In addition to the Mandatory Training Programme’ we will
continue to provide training in Managing Dementia, Managing
Violence & Aggression, Safe Record Keeping, Safe
Administration of Medication and Train the Trainers.
NVQ Training
Quantum Training Services is an accredited and approved City
and Guilds, OCR and EDI Centre for the delivery of the NVQ -
National Vocational Qualifications.
The City & Guilds NVQ qualifications are recognised
throughout the world as the benchmark of quality and only
approved centres can deliver these qualifications.

Quantum Training Services delivers a Specialist Training
Courses which are applicable to a wide range of Businesses.
Whilst we offer these courses on a Student-by-Student basis
we do offer discounts for Group Bookings and we can run
these Training Courses either at Quantum Training Services
or at your own workplace.

turn can deliver the Training course to your employees.
