The Safety Business Ltd specialises in providing health and
safety consultancy services to health care workers in both
residential and domiciliary care settings. We have been the
main provider of these services to the National Care
Association since 1996 and have written their comprehensive
Health and Safety Handbook for staff. This is widely used
across the sector, and reflects the requirements of the
National Minimum Standards as set out by the Commissioner
for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). ..
We pride ourselves on giving practical solutions to your
health and safety problems; we like to cut the jargon and
give it to you in plain English. We recognise the importance
of balancing the needs and rights of the service user to
take sensible risks to enable them to live as independently
as possible, and at the same time protecting them from harm.
Our advice will be sensible and easy to understand, so that
you are clear about what you need to do.
Our main focus is on training and we are CIEH registered
with experienced trainers who can deliver training at your
headquarters if that is more convenient to you, or at
central London locations. All courses are tailored to meet
the workplaces of the delegates and we deliver a serious
safety message in a way that is fun and enjoyable so that
people go away remembering what we have learnt.

• Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment Principles and Practice

As well as meeting your training needs we can provide a full
range of consultancy services, including audits and
inspection and help with writing your policy and procedures.
All of our Consultants are Chartered Members of the
Institute of Occupational Health and Safety and have many
years of experience of working in the health and social care
sector.
